Straight razor 

We make our own razor following the tradition, from Solingen or Thiers blanks. Our aim is making a good blade ready for shaving with fair price. All the materials used for making these razors are first choice.

A long history of tradition and passion for straight razors brought Gustave Lalune to life in 2015.

1. For several years a collaboration with Mr Kronenberg manager of Revisor has allowed us to offer some NOS razors from Germany. This collaboration is now a partnership.
3. Revisor ensures an exemplary production of saber in the purest German tradition and thanks to expert hands including those of Mr Werner Breidenbach the deans in this field in Solingen, which cumulates some 70 years in the trade !.
5. These perfectly balanced razors, from the "Hamburg Ring" type, ensure excellent handling comfort.
7. The steel used is a 115CrV3 which combines ease of maintenance and durability of the cut.

Thiers-Issard french razor maker produce open razor in Thiers, France. The blades are forged in Thiers with german stell Tyssen c135.

Razors leave factory after a long sharpening process witch includs hollowing, grinding, polishing, sharpening and at last stropping. The edge of each razor is verifiyed with the hair test witch permit to control the sharpeness of the edge. Although it doesn't means that your razor is ready for shave but also means that it can cut enough a easy beard. Today as before razors need to be stropped gently for 20 or 30 minutes by expert hands. With selecting this option I will prepare your razor SHAVE READY for immediat use !
